Addressing Regional Growth
With the City of Busselton expecting another 7,000 residents within the region over the next five years, Vasse North is envisioned as a vital and responsive solution. The project seeks to address long-recognised land shortages, creating much-needed housing opportunities for local families and future generations.
A Logical Extension
The masterplan is designed as a natural continuation of the established Vasse Estate, positioned directly opposite the thriving Vasse Village. It represents a consistent approach to the overarching planning frameworks identified by the government for urban development.
Leveraging $40 Million in Infrastructure
Vasse North is planned to benefit from significant existing investment, allowing for a more efficient and affordable path to homeownership:
- $20m already invested by the owners into extending essential infrastructure services.
- $20m+ invested by Government agencies in roads, communications, and utility mains.
- The Goal: To enable future residents to build faster and more affordably by utilising services already available at the site’s boundary.
Established Connectivity
Safety and accessibility have been part of the long-term vision for over a decade. The existing underpass beneath the Busselton Bypass is intended to provide future residents with safe, immediate pedestrian and cyclist access to Vasse Village, local schools, and the coast.
A Unified, Professional Vision
Unlike fragmented developments, Vasse North is owned by a single joint venture with a 20-year track record in the South West. This consolidated ownership ensures a clear, first-class vision for community design, responsible decision-making, and high-quality results.
Social and Economic Potential
The vision for Vasse North extends beyond housing to include significant regional benefits:
- 3,600+ direct and indirect jobs projected to be supported by the project.
- $575m estimated injection into the local economy.
- Service Expansion: The growth of the residential population is intended to assist Village landowners in expanding local services, potentially including a new hospital and ancillary medical offerings.
