Using an independent market research agency, we surveyed our residents to find out what they thought about Vasse. Below are some quotes from real Vasse locals, along with what we’re doing to help sustain that view.
“Love the effort put into the beautiful streetscapes, parks and entry features”
We put in a lot of effort to make Vasse look so good. These include:
- Stunning landscaped parks, green spaces and nature play areas.
- Six creative pieces of public art near our shopping areas and estate entry.
- A beautiful green entry statement, including a Timothy Vasse sculpture.
- Bonus front landscaping for all lots purchased, to ensure a finished, quality look.
“How close everything is. Shops, ovals, schools are just around the corner”
Vasse now has over 100 shops and businesses, including Coles, cafes, bars, restaurants, medical, household needs, personal services, newsagent, petrol, general retail and more.
Vasse has two very popular schools. Vasse Primary School and Cape Naturaliste College.
For sports and exercise, Vasse has six free outdoor exercise stations, five exercise circuits, the Wadandi Track, and the Vasse Sporting Complex, which features a major oval that is suitable for football, cricket, soccer and rugby. Future expansion of the Sporting Complex includes hard courts, clubrooms and a bowling green.
“Love living in Vasse. It’s a beautiful spot close to everything we love about the South West.”
Vasse is the most central town for everything in the South West.
Within just 3kms are stunning beaches, suitable for swimming, fishing and boating. The closest winery is just 5 minutes away.
Within 15 minutes are Busselton and Dunsborough. Margaret River and Yallingup are less than 30 minutes away, whilst Bunbury is less than one hour.
“Safe, quiet and with a real community feel.”
Our community in Vasse is very friendly and close knit. Whilst there’s respect for privacy, if you want to socialise, there’s plenty of opportunities.
Within Vasse are multiple sporting clubs, a walking group, and community events like our annual Open Day and free outdoor movie.
A community garden is also coming to Vasse soon.
We also have a Community Development Officer and Community Sponsorship to help clubs and groups within Vasse.
