Look out, Vasse! The Vasse Lions will be taking a short recess while they reinvent the Vasse Markets.

Vasse Friday Night Markets

They’ll shift the markets to the heart of Vasse Village and transform it into a Friday night twilight market, which is set to commence in Spring.

“We envisage making each of these markets an event that will attract residents, food trucks and live music to create a vibe that is upbeat and attractive,” said Trish Robinson, Secretary for The Lions Club of Vasse.

What’s At The Vasse Markets?

The Vasse Lions were gifted the Vasse Markets in November 2021. In this short two years, they have had a ball bringing stallholders together with the community.

• The Country Women’s Association have been regular stallholders, selling their delicious home-baked goods to raise funds for their Busselton house.
• The Vasse Bush Fire Brigade have visited several times for show-and-tell family events.
• And, of course, there are the artists, self-published authors, artisan crafters and jewellery makers who have brought their unique flare to Lions Vasse Markets family.

2023/2024 Vasse Market Dates

The Vasse Lions are currently working with the City of Busselton on the required protocols and legalities. The proposed Friday twilight market dates are the first Friday of every month, being:

• 6 October, 2023
• 3 November, 2023
• 1 December, 2023
• 5 January, 2024
• 2 February, 2024
• 1 March, 2024.
