It’s been a big few months for Vasse Village, with some exciting announcements and another series of pop-up events on the way.

St John of God Private Hospital announce a new Vasse campus

In one of the biggest announcements for Vasse Village, St John of God Hospital recently confirmed plans to broaden their South West operations with a new private day hospital in Vasse Village.

The circa $70 million facility will be delivered in conjunction with Blackoak Capital and will accommodate the following:

• 23-hour surgical services
• day oncology
• dialysis
• specialist consulting rooms and more.

Works on the new campus are proposed to commence in 2023, subject to statutory approvals.

Pop-up Library Summer Series

After two successful seasons, the City of Busselton Libraries pop-up Library series is coming back to Vasse Village this summer.

The pop-ups will be held in the Vasse Village arcade, near One Rustic Bloom & the Magpie Café, between 9am to 12noon on the following dates:

• 15 December – featuring a special Christmas Storytime with Barney the Owl between 10 – 11am
• 12 January – plus Lego Club between 10 – 11am
• 19 January – including a mini craft morning
• 16 February – with story time between 10 – 11am
• 16 March – with story time between 10 – 11am.
