Although Vasse may not have its own dedicated library, the City of Busselton’s Busselton Libraries are making sure Vasse families don’t miss out on their wonderful programs. With a range of special events, the libraries are bringing educational and fun activities to local parks, giving the Vasse community access to their excellent services.
Baby Bounce in the Park is a family favourite that brings songs, rhymes, and fun activities to outdoor settings, allowing parents and little ones to enjoy the fresh air while learning and connecting. Here are the upcoming Baby Bounce dates:
- Monday, 28th October | 10am – 11am | Dawson’s Nature Playground, Kealy
- Monday, 25th November | 10am – 11am | Elijah Circle Playground, Kealy
- Monday, 16th December | 10am – 11am | Heritage Park, Vasse
No bookings are required for these FREE events—just come along and enjoy a relaxed, friendly morning with other local parents. Samara often brings a small fruit plate and some brownies or cookies to share, making it a perfect way to connect and unwind. With around 10 adults typically attending, it’s a cosy and welcoming gathering.
In addition to Baby Bounce, Busselton Libraries are also bringing their Pop-Up Library to Vasse for two exciting mornings in January:
- Thursday, 9th January | 9am – 12pm | Mini-Craft Morning
- Thursday, 23rd January | 9am – 12pm | Lego Club
Both events will be a great opportunity for kids to get creative and have fun while parents can explore the library’s resources.
Mark your calendars and don’t miss out on these fantastic opportunities to engage with the Vasse community and enjoy the wonderful programs that Busselton Libraries have to offer.
