Record Crowds Visit Vasse Village

Vasse Village welcomed record visitor numbers over the 2020 summer period. Visitors to the Village increased by 10% in December, compared to the same period in 2019.

An expansive series of events, plus the diverse range of store and services  made for a record-breaking Summer.

December 2020 Visitor Highlights

  • Foot counts increased by a huge 91%, up on 2019
  • 11% more vehicles than the September ‘20 quarter
  • 4,800 vehicles used Napoleon Promenade on Christmas Eve 2020.

30+ Speciality Stores

Vasse Village Marketing & Activation Consultant, Larissa Boyanich, said the convenience at Vasse Village and a great community vibe make it an attractive destination.

“There’s around 30 specialty stores in the Village at the moment, with more to come in 2021.”

“The tree-lined streets, public artworks, growing events calendar and variety of established retailers make it a fantastic place for locals and visitors to enjoy,” she said.

New retailers enhance Village offering

Gyp-sea Collective opened their doors in December. They offer a beautifully selected range of clothing, accessories and homewares.

Construction has also started on the new car and dog wash which will open later this year. More businesses are expected to join the Village main street in the first half of 2021.
