2022 Vasse Community Open Day

Get your friends and family together and join us for our annual Community Open Day – the biggest event on the Vasse Estate calendar. As always, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

All Ages Attractions & Entertainment

Local acoustic musician Brad McLeod is back again this year, covering all the classics throughout the afternoon.

Plus, you can also enjoy some friendly competition with Giant Jenga, Giant Connect Four and sack races. The team from Vasse Estate will even have some prizes to give away.

We’ve got the kids covered with:

  • High ropes climbing course
  • Face painting
  • Pony Rides
  • Bouncy castle

The Vasse Volunteer Bushfire Brigade will also be bringing their rig and will need some help putting out fake house fires.

Drinks & Food

Enjoy a classic sausage in a bun and support the Vasse Royals Football Club. They’ll be running the community BBQ and raising funds for their club.

Coffee, freshly squeezed juices and ice-cream will also be available throughout the afternoon. You can even grab a freebie if you get in quick.

With plenty of room to pull up a chair or a blanket while you enjoy the sunshine, tunes and activities, you can even pack your own picnic or snacks.

When

  • Sunday, 13 November 2022
  • 12noon to 3pm

Where

The Community Open Day will be held in our beautiful Nature Playground, on the corner of Napoleon Promenade & Amberjack Avenue, Vasse. You can park on one of the street parking bays, or overflow parking will be available opposite the park on Lynwood Street.

Don’t forget you can also walk or cycle to the park along one of our many paths and trails.

The Nature Playgrounds also offers a BBQ, shaded seating areas, a climbing fort, flying fox, swing, water play and a half-court basketball court for you to enjoy on the day.
