Take a tour of the Vasse Estate

The Big Picture

Vasse has been meticulously planned to suit the demands of a modern lifestyle, without losing the tranquility and natural surrounds that make the South West of WA such an appealing place to live. Comprising some 1800 lots within three residential estates known as Birchfields, Dawson and Armstrong, the new Village Centre, existing education facilities and Light Industrial Business Park, the greater Vasse community has everything to make it one of the most attractive lifestyle or investment options in the region.

Dawson Estate was officially launched in August 2013 with 80% of lots in Stage 1, Stage 2 now sold out and Stages 3A & 3B now selling. The Vasse Dawson Estate development plan includes approximately another 500 lots to be developed over the coming years to service the strong demand for quality vacant land in this already thriving community.

Sustainable living is a focus, and landscaped parks, meandering walking trails, picturesque lakes and rehabilitated wetlands have all been seamlessly integrated into the neighbourhoods, ensuring rural interfaces and a relaxed, natural feeling no matter where you go in Vasse. Embracing the rich heritage of the 175 year-old history Vasse is built upon, the segment of the Rails for Trails Reserve running through the development will be enhanced to provide an informative and tranquil walkway for residents to enjoy.

Set to become home to 5000 residents, including many young families, education is an integral part of the Vasse development. Already home to the thriving, historic Vasse Primary School for kindergarten to year 7, and the new Cape Naturaliste College high school for years 8-12, the overall Master Plan also includes two sites earmarked for a future primary school and private school. Recently identified by the State Government as the preferred location for the new Busselton TAFE, subject to final site assessment and Government approvals, educational opportunities at Vasse will continue to evolve along with its growing community.

The close proximity to major amenities and exciting things to do near Busselton make Vasse one of the most desirable locations in the South West. The new Village Centre will add even more convenience for residents with the proposed inclusion of a Coles national, full-range supermarket, medical facilities, cafes, specialty stores and a variety of other services. Designed to become an exciting hub at the centre of development, the beautifully landscaped entry to the Village via Napoleon Promenade will be an attractive main street introduction to your shopping experience. The new Village Centre will be big enough to contain all of the modern conveniences that residents of Vasse will want and need, whilst being intelligently and sensitively designed to ensure a warm, country community feel is maintained.

In keeping with the superior construction of both Birchfields and Dawson Estate Stage 1, a public artwork of Timothee Vasse was commissioned to capture the natural beauty and history of Vasse, forming an attractive landmark feature at the entry to the Village Centre.

Vasse also caters to businesses looking for a prime location with the development of the Light Industry and Business Park on the western perimeter of the estate. A growing number of businesses and trades have already moved in, servicing the Margaret River to Busselton region. The Business Park is perfectly positioned on Bussell Highway and will ultimately be connected to the Vasse-Busselton Bypass, making it an ideally located, central hub for the South West.
