A vital aspect of every thriving community is its schools, and in the community of Vasse you’ll find substantial investment has been made to ensure a quality education is available for every age. From the first day of school to the last and beyond, Vasse has the educational infrastructure to ensure our community’s children are as active mentally as they are physically.
Vasse Primary School creates the ideal, nurturing start to the school career. Beginning with a playgroup offering learning and social interaction for pre-kindergarten children, preparing them for Kindy, and then continuing all the way through to year 6. Over the road, the new $27 million high school, Cape Naturaliste College, has been designed to give year 7-12 students from West Busselton, Dunsborough and Vasse a top quality education through state of the art facilities completed in 2008.
The Minister for Education and Training recently announced Vasse as the preferred location for the development of the exciting new Busselton TAFE, subject to final site assessment and Government approvals. Speaking enthusiastically at an inspection of the Vasse site, the Minister announced that Vasse was the ideal location for the creation an education hub as it "ticked all the boxes".
Additionally, the Master Plan incorporates sites for two additional schools in Vasse that have been earmarked for a primary and a private school. As more and more people are attracted to the enviable lifestyle of Vasse, these schools will be developed to cater to the growing community.
So, whether your children are just starting out or about to complete their final years of school, Vasse schools for kids offer a quality education, just a short walk or cycle down the road.
